Ronnie Emmett Collins, a beloved figure in the Vidor community, passed away on Monday, February 26th, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, at the age of 89. Ronnie was a longtime resident of Vidor, where he touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, followed by interment at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Ronnie is survived by his children: Cathy Gallop of Bon Wier, TX; David Collins, Rhonda Collins, Ronald Eugene Collins, and Sabrina Collins Norman, all of Vidor, TX. He is also survived by his sister, Patsy Porter of Beaumont, TX, along with 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
