Norris Larent Constance, a respected and beloved figure in his community, passed away on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024, at his home in Vidor, Texas, at the age of 91. Norris was an avid outdoorsman, finding peace and joy in duck hunting and fishing. His love for gardening allowed him to spend hours tending to his plants, enjoying the tranquility of nature, and sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and family. Norris serviced his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He also had a passion for traveling, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures, which brought him great joy throughout his retirement years. Norris’s legacy is carried on by his loving family, including his children, Ricky Constance, Dale Constance, and Tangi Constance, all of whom reside in Vidor. He was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren, who in turn gave him 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
