Laura Jane Odom, 68, of Beaumont, passed away on Monday, January 15th, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. Born and raised in Vidor, she had been a longtime resident of the town before relocating to Beaumont a few years ago. Laura was known for her warm and loving nature, always cherishing the moments spent with her family. She had a deep passion for fishing, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of the water. Among her many loves, one that stood out was her genuine affection for babies; she truly adored their innocence and brought joy to every little one she encountered. She is survived by her sister, Ethel Teal of Vidor, TX, and leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
