Orbie Wayne Woods Jr., 54, of Kirbyville, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, at his residence. Born in Uvalde, TX, Wayne spent much of his life in Vidor before making Kirbyville his home four years ago. He found joy in the kitchen, showcasing his love for cooking, and creating delicious meals for those he cared about. An avid outdoorsman, he relished the serenity of fishing and the camaraderie of golfing. Wayne is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Kimberly Woods of Kirbyville, TX. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his daughters, Catherine Ventris of Ripley, OK, Nicole Ramsey of Lubbock, TX, and Taylor Jimenez of Canton, TX. His memory is also cherished by his father Orbie Wayne Woods Sr. and sisters, Tracey Harrington of Vidor, TX, Terry Davis, and Carolyn “Pookie” Orvis of Rockdale, TX. Wayne’s love extends to his three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
