The threat of inclement weather prompted school officials to move the scheduled Thursday scrimmage between Vidor and West Orange to Wednesday afternoon. They beat the rainy weather and played the game under a cloudless sky and unrelenting sun.
The Vidor Pirate Freshman team began play at 4, followed by junior varsity at 5 and varsity at 6 p.m.
