Pirates off to an 0-2 start in district play

    District play got underway Tuesday for Pirate baseball in Bridge City. After a tentative start, the Cardinals got on the scoreboard in the third inning with three runs. The Pirates answered with two of their own in the fourth to make the score 3-2. The Cards went up 4-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning and a sixth inning homer by Landon Bailey made the final score 4-3 for the Cardinals. ...
