Ronald "Chief" Bolen, 85, of Lavon, TX, died Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at his home. He has been a resident of Lavon for the past 15 years. He retired as a chief from the U.S. Navy. He loved reading westerns especially ones written by Louis L'Amour, also enjoyed playing solitaire, fishing, and spending time with his family. Visitation for Ronald will be Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a graveside service following at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor beginning at 2:00 PM. He is survived by his daughters Cindy Sedtal of Jasper, TX, and Eva Tapper of Lavon, TX, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
