The Vidor Lady Pirates competed in the sidtrict track and field meet held last week at West Orange-Stark, taking second place overall with seven girls advancing in field events.
According to VISD Head Girls Track Coach Tracy Maines, the seven Lady Pirates qualifying for Area competition in field events are:
• In Discus, Rylee Sherman placed 2nd with a throw of 93’11”.
