The varsity Lady Pirates softball district opener Tuesday in Orangefield was spoiled by a last inning home run that broke a 5-5 tie and ended the game 6-5 in favor of the Lady Bobcats.
The Lady Pirates took a 4-1 lead into the third inning when a threerun homer by Harleigh Rawls jacked a threerun homer over the left field fence to give the Lady Bobcats a 5-4 lead.
