The varsity Vidor Pirate baseball team went 2-3 in the Crosby tournament held last week.
Opening play Thursday against Port Neches, Pirate bats were silent as the Indians went ahead 1-0 after one inning, adding another 3 runs in the third to emerge 4-0 winners.
The Pirates went scoreless in spite of two hits and committing no errors.
