ORANGE COUNTY – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers investigated a crash on State Highway 12, near Jennings Street, that occurred Tuesday, June 10, 2025.The preliminary crash investigation indicates that at approximately 8:55 p.m., a Vidor police unit was traveling east on S.H. 12.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is proud to share that our 29th Annual Cops and Kids event was a tremendous success, with an estimated 850 attendees coming together for a day filled with fun, community connection, and safe family activities.
The Vidor Public Library kicked off the 2025 Summer Reading Program “Color Our World” on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Vidor High School auditorium. Guest Andy Gardner with the Art Museum of Southeast Texas helped the children create puzzles using Vidor and various other maps for the shape. Andy told the audience about the museum and upcoming events. The next program will be on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, with Dru Woods, puppeteer.
