Vidor ISD Homecoming Parade
Congratulations to 4 VHS senior CTE students for being chosen as the Vidor Chamber of Commerce Future Leaders of the Quarter
The Band of Bands, The Mighty Pirate Marching Band ,competed at the UIL Region X Marching Band Contest Saturday in Port Neches and received straight 1’s from all three judges. That makes 22 consecutive Division 1 Marching Contest ratings for the Vidor HS Band. This also means the Band of Bands qualifies for their 5th consecutive UIL State Military Marching Contest, to be held on Tuesday, October 29 at Baylor University in Waco.

The Vidor Public Library held Itty Bitty Storytime on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Library clerk Sarah Screws read “You’re My Little Pumpkin Pie” by Nicola Edwards to the audience. The story includes pumpkins, cats, ghosts, spiders, and bats. The children painted handprints and made googly eye sensory bags.
