House fire claims life of VMS student

An 11-year old Vidor Middle School student, Noah Randell, died in a house fire on Austin Street Monday evening. An adult was also injured attempting to rescue the youth and was flown by medical helicopter to Galveston for treatment of his injuries, authorities said.
