VISD names September employees of the month

Mary Jane Noble Named Vidor ISD Employee of the Month Mary Jane Noble has spent 18 years at Vidor High School, working in the Special Education department. According to VHS principal Mr. James McDowell, Noble is a one-of-a-kind person and a valuable asset at VHS.

The Vidor ISD Police Department is taking big steps towards preparing to respond and assist with a medical crisis or a mass casualty incident. VISD PD recently purchased a red backpack for each Police and Security Officer employed by the District.

Orange County municipalities recorded increases in retail sales compared to July 2020, according to figures just released by the Texas Comptroller. Only Bridge City (-9.02%) and Pinehurst (-5.46%) received a smaller sales tax allocation this month.
