DPS Graduates Three New K-9 Teams

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) graduated three new K-9 teams from a nineweek training program on Nov. 12. These K-9 teams will join more than 50 DPS Canine Detection Teams across Texas within DPS’ Texas Highway Patrol Division.

There is a lot to be thankful for this year, and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) wants to ensure people are able to get to and from their holiday celebrations safely. Texas Highway Patrol Troopers will increase enforcement on the roads from Wednesday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 28.
