State Finalist
The Vidor Public Library held Wonder Readers Story Time on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Library clerk Sarah Screws read “Gingerbread Christmas” by Jan Brett. The story is about Gingerbread Baby and his friend Matti, they take the band to the Christmas Festival and are a big hit. Itty Bitty Story Time was held at the Vidor Public Library on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Library clerk Sarah Screws read “Olaf’s Night Before Christmas” by Jessica Julius. In this classic tale Olaf has the adventure of a lifetime with a mysterious stranger dressed in red. After the story the children made a Christmas card to take home. Courtesy Photos

The Vidor High School Pirate Players were excited to receive their puppets yesterday! They use these puppets to teach important concepts, such as fire safety, to elementary school children.
