The cost to mail a letter is going up. The United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) of mailing services price changes to take effect July 9, 2023.

Comptroller Reports Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $3.6 Billion in March

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar reported front-not lead state sales tax revenue totaled $3.57 billion in March, 5.9 percent more than in March 2022. The majority of March sales tax revenue is based on sales made in February and remitted to the agency in March.

Vidor sets public hearings on zoning with implementation by summer

Vidor residents and other interested parties will get what is expected to be a final opportunity to express their views on the zoning proposal for the City of Vidor during two public hearings scheduled for May 4 at Vidor City Hall.

The proposed zoning map for the City of Vidor will be reviewed at two Vidor Planning and Zoning Commission public hearings set for Vidor City Hall on May 4. After the proposed plan is finalized, it will be presented to Vidor City Council for adoption and will go into effect immediately. Courtesy Photo
