Vidor holds public hearing on budget Thursday

Vidor City Council set a varied agenda for this Thursday with items ranging from the city manager’s annual evaluation in a closed session to a public hearing on the proposed 2023-2024 budget. The proposed budget is for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2023.

VISD off to a great year with enrollment up slightly

Vidor ISD Superintendent Dr. Jay Killgo said Vidor has gotten off to a great start to the 20232024 school year with just a few glitches. “We are off to a great start. Traffic patterns and transportation are improving daily. Our enrollment is up 28 students district wide.
