Orange, Texas (November 7, 2023) The Salvation Army in Orange is pleased to welcome new leaders, Captains Dante and Tiffany Salgado and their family.
The Vidor Public Library held Itty Bitty Storytime on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Library clerk Sarah Screws read “The Leaf Thief” by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater. “Squirrel loves counting the leaves on his tree but one of the leaves is missing. He teams up with Bird to discover who the leaf thief is.” The children assembled a foam turkey craft.

Wonder Readers’ Craft hour was held at the Vidor Public Library on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Library Clerk Sarah Screws told the audience facts about different types of trees and leaves. The students painted fall leaf suncatchers for the craft.

But when autumn breezes begin to blow, adventurous Birch, nervous Oak, and grumpy Maple each have their own way of facing the new crispness in the air.” The children made thumbkin patch prints and decorated turkey masks.
